Boys Track Team 
-Winning the “Small School” division was Lutheran Westland with 122 points
2nd was Warren Michigan Collegiate with 113 points
3rd was Southfield Christian with 81 points 
4th was Whitmore Lake with 60 points
5th Riverview Gabriel Richard. 
GR placed 5th out of 12 small school teams. 
Leading the way for the Boys Track team was Nick Hammond winning the 800m with a time of 2:03. He also placed 4th for the mile run. And also placing 3rd in the 1600m relay. 
Tim Augustyniak won the discus event for small schools with a throw of 119 ft. He also placed 3rd in the high jump, jumping up to 5’8. And he placed 6th in the shoput throwing 37’7. 
Alessandro Zakoiski placed 4th in high hurdles and 7th place in the low hurdles. 
“This was an eye opening invitational for us. The coaches were all very impressed at how well our Gabriel Richard track team did at the Whitmore Lake Invitational”. Coach Madero said. “Coming off our our long spring break, it was amazing to see how well our athletes did. Many of the athletes made their personal best times and distances for their events. A great start to a promising season, the hope is for continual improvement”. Coach Madero added.
The 4×100 relay team placed 7th overall (Weston Pfeiffer, Nathan Palumbo, Gabe Pascua, Steven Augustyniak)
We placed 5th in the 4×200 relay (Weston Pfeiffer, Steven Augustyniak, Nathan Palumbo, Gabe Pascua) 
5th in the 4×800 relay (Jordan McKinney, Austin Albertson, Adam Holten, Joshua Tyanan) 
3rd in the 4×400 (Nathan Palumbo, Nick Hammond, Steven Augustyniak, Nevin Hughes)
Girls Track Team
-Winning the “Small School” division was Southfield Christian with 115.5 pts.
2nd was Wixom St. Catherine with 84 pts.
3rd was Whitmore Lake 74.5
4th Riverview Gabriel Richard 50 pts
Leading the GR Girls Track team was first year senior runner, Sophie Bochenek. She came in 3rd in the 100m dash, placed 4th in the long jump, helped the 4x100m relay team place 4th, and helped the 4x200m relay team get a 3rd place finish. An outstanding job for a 1st year track athlete.
Courtney Catalano, another first year track athlete came in 2nd place for the discus event with a throw of 83 ft. She helped the 4x100m relay team come in 4th. She also helped the 4x200m relay team come in 3rd place.
Mary Sirois came in 7th place in the 800m. 5th in the 3200m run, and helped the 4x800m relay team get 3rd place.
Lily Green, as a freshmen came in 8th in the mile run, 8th in the 2 mile run, and also helped the 4x800m relay team come in 3rd place.
Katie Ritchie, a senior, helped the 4x100m relay team come in 4th, and the 4x200m relay team 3rd.
Sarah Mohr, another senior, helped the 4x100m relay team come in 4th, and the 4x200m relay team come in 3rd place.
Catherine Cole and Patti Ritchie also helped the 4x800m relay team. After Catherine ran the 2 mile, she came back right away and ran her fastest time which helped propel the 4×400 relay team to come in 5th place.
Peyton Edelbrock, a freshmen, threw a 66’2 ft discus throw. And placed 7th overall in the discus event.
