The girls had a great performance at the Wayne County Championship meet. The GR girls came in 1st place with 79 points overall in their division (division 3/4). Overall, out of all the divisions at the meet, the girls came in 3rd place.
Leading the girls team once again was senior Sophie Bochenek come in 7th place in the 100m, 7th in the 200 m, 3rd in the 400, and 2nd in the 4×100 relay. 
Also helping the team was sophomore Mary Sirois, she came in 4th in the 800 m and 2nd in the 1600m.
In the 800 was Patti Ritchie with 6th place, 4th in the 1600m.
Emily deHaan 9th in the 400m and Sarah Mohr 7th in the 100m hurdles
4×800 m relay (Emily deHaan, Elizabeth Hanoian, Patti Ritchie, Mary Sirois) 2nd place.
Shotput Logan Cook came in 9th place
Discus Courtney Catalano came in 4th and Peyton Edelbrock came in 6th place.
Long jump Emily deHaan came in 4th
Freshmen shotput event Peyton Edelbrock came in 2nd. Freshmen longjump Alysaa Meszaros came in 1st.
Boys came in 2nd place in the division 3/4 category with a point total of 40 points. Overall the GR boys we can in 6th place at the Wayne County Championship meet.
3200 m, senior Jacques Sirois helped score points with an 8th place finish.
110m hurdles, senior Alessandro Zakolski came in 4th place and finished 5th place in the 300 m hurdles.
The 4x100m relay team came in 6th place (Weston Pffiefer, Yuri Alonte, Nathan Palumbo, William Fredricks)
The 4x200m relay team came in 5th place (Yuri ALonte, Gabe Pascua, West Pfeiffer, Nathan Palumbo)
4x800m relay team came in 3rd place.
For the shotput scoring points was Mark Cox with a 6th place finish and William Fredrick 7th place finish.
The Freshmen shotput event, Kenneth Esquible came in 2nd place and Justin Jiang came in 5th place in the same event.
In the Discus event, Mark Cox came in 4th and Nathan Palumbo came in 7th.
Nathan Palumbo also scored big by finishing 2nd in the long jump.
