Junior, Casey Lyons qualified after finishing ninth (9) with a run of 20:21.50. The state finals will be on Saturday, November 2nd at MIS (Michigan International Speedway) Brooklyn, MI.

FALL SPORT ATHLETES HONORED

On Friday, October 25th the Athletic Department will be honoring the CHSL (Catholic High School League) Fall Sport Award Winners. Boys Cross WIns League Title!!!

  The Richard boys’ cross country won its third consecutive CHSL Jamboree with a first-place finish on Oct. 8 at Riverview’s Patriots Park. With the victory, the Pioneers locked up a Division 3 CHSL title for the season. Behind Richard, which scored 38 points at the jamboree, was second-place Cabrini (46). From third to seventh

Cross Country Update!!!

The girls didn’t fare too well in their 2nd Jamboree.  Cabrini took 1st place with 28 points.  Gabriel Richard was came in 2nd at 67 points, Shrine was 3rd with 103 points, St. Catherine of Siena came in 4th with 109.  Leading the way for GR was Casey Lyons, taking 3rd place with a time

      The Boy’s and Girls Cross traveled to Holly for the highly competitive Invitational. Both the boys and girls Cross Country Team visited Royal Oak Shrine for the opening Catholic League jamboree. Nine school’s participated in the jamboree including Royal Oak Shrine (Host), Cardinal Mooney, Bishop Foley, Cabrini, Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes, Jewish Academy, Cristo Rey (Detroit) and Loyola.
